What is a halfway spot between Cleveland, Ohio and Chicago?

If you plan on taking the Ohio/Indiana Turnpike, at Interstate 69 (in Indiana) would be a good place that is halfway. There should be restaurants and hotels around that area. Some towns that are close are Nevada Mills, Lake James, Glen Eden, Crooked Lake, and Angola.
If your looking for a big city then Toledo, Ohio is probably the best option. It will have all the hotels and restaurants you need if you are just looking for a place to stay the night. Its probably a little closer to Cleveland than Chicago. Maumee Bay is a nice state park on the way close to Toledo, and it has a good hotel.

It's a bit longer to go from Cleveland to Chicago than five hours, if you stop and get something to eat it'll probably take you about seven. As I recall, there's really nothing at the "halfway" point. Toledo is maybe two hours into the drive. There's a GREAT German/Mexican restaurant in Toledo, on Summit Dr. off of 280. If you're looking for something to do besides eat though, there's not much in Toledo.
If that's too early, the quickest way to Chicago will take you on the Indiana turnpike anyway. There's about a dozen turnpike plazas with different kinds of fast food %26amp; even a sit-down restaurant at some. Those are probably your best bet besides Toledo.
I'd suggest you go to Yahoo Maps and enter both the Clevalnd and Chicago addresses and then decide what's halfway between the 2. How long does it take to tour the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & other places in Cleveland worth checking out?
Just wondering approximately how long it would take to tour the museum. I've been to Cleveland several times for Indians and Cavs games but never to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and I wasn't sure how big of a place it was. Is it an all day event or would I need to plan something else? If so, what other places are worth checking out?? I've been to Tower City and the Cleveland Zoo. Well there is a service on DirecTV that shows every game in the NFL. It is somewhat expensive, but if you are a diehard browns fan, it will be worth it. BTW Good luck next season, Their defense should be much better with Corey Williams and Shaun Rogers.
DirecTV was my first thought. My girlfriend and I will get that either this season or next so that we can both watch all our teams' games (she's a Packers fan).

It is very cruel to ship a dog by airline. The dog is under extreme stress and it has to be in the cargo hold where the temperature is very cold and it is dark. A dog needs human care at this time and the airline cannot give it to the dog. Your dog very well may end up as a casualty of the flight and the airline is not responsible.
While I appreciate your response, the cruelty aspect you mentioned isn't necessarily true. Reputable breeders from all over the country routinely fly pups to their new owners.

It is important to me that the artist and studio also practice good habits in terms of cleanliness and safety, and avoid practices known to be bad such as covering completed tattoos with plastic wrap.
I am interested in having a custom black tribal design created that would be of a larger size covering the upper arm and shoulder. This requires a lot of sleuthing! You can go door to door to every tattoo shop in your area and ask to see all the artist's portfolios. A good artist should be more that proud to show off his/her work and be ready to answer ANY questions you may have without hesitation. While you're at the shops, you can checkout the place too. Is it clean and professional? Or, is it kinda seedy with a bunch of their friends hanging out there. Also, you may want to go to a few hip nightclubs and see if anybody has good work. You can ask the wearer everything about their experience with the shop or artist. Be patient because this is something you'll be wearing the rest of your life.

This requires a lot of sleuthing! You can go door to door to every tattoo shop in your area and ask to see all the artist's portfolios. A good artist should be more that proud to show off his/her work and be ready to answer ANY questions you may have without hesitation. While you're at the shops, you can checkout the place too. Is it clean and professional? Or, is it kinda seedy with a bunch of their friends hanging out there. Also, you may want to go to a few hip nightclubs and see if anybody has good work. You can ask the wearer everything about their experience with the shop or artist. Be patient because this is something you'll be wearing the rest of your life.

Well I live in Cleveland westside 3 bedroom house 3 floors. basement main and upper
electric bill summer-110.00 with central air and a window unit to get rid of extra humidity
electric bill winter- 40.00 apx
gas bill summer-30 - 40.00
gas winter-$1100.00 without a kerosene heater/ with heater its about 350.00 I also use a small eletric heater upstairs to take the chill off the bedroom at night.
gas is over 13.00 a cubic foot here in the winter
you really have to be carefull with the gas company here they will screw you any chance they get. AND if they cant get in to read the meter they will threaten to shut your gas off.
water is about 50-60 for 3 months
I am 45 miles east of Cleveland so I'm not sure if this will help, but my water is around $60 and is paid every 3 months, electric varies from $70 to $130, with gas I am on a budget and pay $160 a month regardless of the weather. Plus - Cuyahoga County has a one-half percent piggyback tax that Lorain does not. Everything from soap to cars is just cheaper out there. Plus, we do not have the Illuminating Company for electric. We have Ohio Edison - once again, cheaper.
p.s. I live in a three bedroom house with a jacuzzi, two refrigerators and a chest freezer, plus a fish acquarium that runs four pumps, there are two subpumps in the basement that run all the time, not to mention that I just don't conserve as well as I could be.

Cleveland needs a good Head Coach and they need to surround LeBron with some players that wont fall fade away as the Playoffs begin.
You need to:
1) bring in another big player like Bosh, Wade, etc.
2) bring in role players that can play against the likes of Boston and Orlando
2) Hire staff personnel that he likes
3) Convince him that this time he really is going to get a ring

I don't necessarily think that if Cleveland traded him the year before they would have gotten equal value. However, it would have made sense to send him to Orlando. He will simply drift off to sleep, as he has done thousands of times ... he will feel no pain or anxiety.
Yeah, this will be painful for you. But think of your dog ... he deserves to take his final rest in the company of his favorite person (YOU) ... it would be pretty cold and heartless to have him spend his last hours in a strange and friendless place.

Was the Butcher of Kingsbury Run / Cleveland Torso Murderer and Bugsy Siegel the same person?

I'll be moving to Cleveland in a few months. I'm not real familiar with the area. I've heard the Coventry area is nice, also Shaker Heights, and possibly Lakewood. I would like to be somewhere that is within walking distance to parks, shops, and restaurants. I guess most importantly, which areas do I need to stay away from while looking for a good apartment?Where is the best, safest area to rent in Cleveland?
The cities that you mentioned can be pretty hit or miss in terms of what you are looking for. All three of them have parks, shops, and restaraunts nearby. However, depending on where you are within the city, be it Clev hts, Shaker hts, or Lakewood, you can get some really really nice places, or some fairly ghetto places. For example, in Shaker Hts, you will see half million dollar homes two blocks away from fifty thousand dollar homes.
What I would recommend is looking into Mayfield Hts, Willoughby, or Lyndhurst, which are pretty dependably priced, safe neighborhoods with close access to freeway, shops, parks, restaraunts, good schools, the whole nine yards. However, any and all of the cities you mentioned can be nice, so long as you are careful when looking for an apartment.
(By the way, stay away from N olmstead, there's nothing worthwhile out there).

I am looking to buy a Cleveland cg wedge but I am very budget minded. I don't want to spend the extra money if the cg15 isn't that much better than the older versions but I'm willing to spend the extra money if it'll improve my game. I was wondering what the differences between the cg10, cg11, cg12, cg14, and cg15 are and which one you would recommend for a budget minded buyer like me.Is the Cleveland cg15 wedge really better than the older versions?
No- there's a limit to the amount of face roughness a wedge can have. The USGA deems any club with face roughness that has any effect of a ball's characteristics (like spin) illegal.
This is not to say Cleveland makes a bad wedge- they're #1 for a reason. However, there's really no difference in any of each clubs ability to spin a ball- the grooves have been maxed out for a while (that's the thing with club manufacturing. Once a limit is set- like head size, MOI, groove depth, etc., EVERYONE takes their clubs to the limit as fast as possible. It adds to its marketability to say it's "at the legal limit for X characteristic"). The only true difference between these wedges is the cavity backs in the CG11 and 14. These clubs offer a dimension of forgiveness, with a slight loss of workability as the trade off.
Buy any of these five, whichever you choose, with confidence.
I would highly reccommend to you the cg12 or cg14. As a budget minded golfer, these are quite cheaper than the new cg15 and offer great performance. I have tried all three wedges out and I couldn't really notice a difference between the three, they had the same spin and everything. I went with the cheapest one which was the cg12. If you are a true fan of a team it doesnt matter where u are from. For instance, 90% of the people in my area are Dallas Cowboy fans, I wear my Packers stuff with pride, no matter wether they win or lose. I am also an Indians fan in a place where it is about the Braves and the Rangers. My step dad is a huge Texas Longhorns fan in Oklahoma, and wears his Horns stuff all the time.
So to answere the question.....no he is not an idiot, but he is a dedicated fan to wear something like that in a town that pays you your salary and not worry about people that will take offense to you wearing your favorite teams stuff.

Since when does playing in the same city as your playoff-counterpart of another sport automatically make you one of their fans? I've seen Lebron wear Yankee caps a long time beforehand. The only exception is for people whose parents grew up in one area and became die-hard fans of their local team, then moved to another area and still raised their children with the old ways. If you live in a geographic backwater with no pro sports, I suppose you are welcome to cheer for who you want--I mean, what's the difference if you cheer for a team 800 miles away or a team that is 2000 miles away? Not much. But such people don't really count as real fans. That's why so many hick states have completely corrupted and destroyed the concept of the student athlete at their local State U--they don't have any real pros to cheer for, so they whore their college kids out and make them pros. You notice how the Northeast doesn't produce anywhere near as many top college teams as places like Oklahoma? It's because we already have adults we can cheer for.
No, I give him props for sticking with his team. There is no law that says you have to support your hometown team. I'm from Ohio, and have held a long-term grudge against the Cavs for trading Ron Harper for Danny Ferry. I adopted the Spurs as my team back in 1987 and got a lot of flack this year during the Finals from Cavs fans. Now if he shows up in Indians gear for game 2...that's a different story.

He misfires on too many passes, had a cake schedule, and he's not as good as people are making him out to be - this is still the same guy that couldn't beat out the immortal Charlie Frye (3rd stringer in Seattle) at the beginning of last season.
I think the Browns will struggle, and I think Quinn will take over towards the end of the season.

If he had accepted a sign and trade that was proposed by Cleveland he would be second option and would most likely have been a 22-24 and 10 guy. The first place that comes to mind about 7 and a half hours from cleveland its on the southern tip of Lake Michigan in Northern Indiana I believe its called Indiana Beach. 6hours to the southeast puts you in the heart of the Allegheny Mountains with several state parks in the region. Again travel due east and you are in theAdarondacks with many lodging options I hope this helps.
