Does anyone know of a good honeymoon location? We are from Cleveland, Ohio and looking to drive?

My fiancee and I are near Cleveland, Ohio. We are getting married May 8, 2010. Were wanting to go on a honeymoon but we are unsure where. We are thinking about going to the beach but we aren't too sure. Does anyone have any suggestions on places where we can drive to in one day?Does anyone know of a good honeymoon location? I love Niagara Falls, but I'm not certain that I see it as a honeymoon location in May as it will be awfully chilly.

Here are some Ohio possibilities:

1) How does a cozy cabin with a hot tub amid what many believe is the most beautiful place in Ohio sound? You'll also have great spring hikes available, as well as outdoor activities such as horseback riding, canoeing, boating, and even zip-lining. And you could throw in a safari tour at the Wilds!

How about this for a honeymoon picture to show your kids?

2) Bogart and Bacall were married and honeymooned at Malabar Farm. You can't stay there (you can, but you probably don't want a hostel for a honeymoon), but you can visit their love lair and stay nearby in the only Ohio state park lodge run by the same corporation that runs the famous lodges in national parks. You'll have available an indoor Olympic-sized pool, horseback riding, hikes, canoeing, a carousel and nearby is Ohio Amish country. And there might even be a square dance at Malabar Farm during your stay!

3) If you want an urban honeymoon, consider the German Village Guest House. You can visit the Columbus Zoo, often ranked as the best in the country, dine at German Village's very romantic restaurants, stroll through Schiller Park, and dance through the night on the Short North. For something different, take a Segway Tour of Columbus.

At Hocking Hills or Mohican, you're only about an hour from Columbus, and vice versa.

BOL!!!
Beach? From Cleveland you can reach the Jersey shore in one day.

Also, Niagara Falls is a traditional place to go, and is within one day's drive for you.Does anyone know of a good honeymoon location? We are from Cleveland, Ohio and looking to drive?
A lot of it really depends on what you want to do on your honeymoon (besides the obvious). Do you just want to relax on a beach somewhere? Try Virginia Beach (not sure the Jersey Shore will be warm enough). Do you want to get away from everyone and be out in nature? Rent a cabin somewhere (maybe upstate New York, or the UP in Michigan). Do you want a city where there's lots to do and experience? Get a hotel in Chicago for a few days.
niagra falls.
Niagara Falls is an easy 1/2 day drive from greater Cleveland. NJ shore can be reached in a day, but their weather isn't much warmer than ours. You might want to think about Myrtle Beach and spend a night in a hotel enroute each way.
Niagara Falls and The Poconos are popular honeymoon spots. I've driven to Virginia Beach a couple times. It's about a 10 hour drive from Cleveland. As the popular slogan goes, "Virginia Beach is for Lovers."
There are several destination ideas here:

That site also includes a sweepstakes to win a honeymoon!
in one day you could make it to South Carolina.

it would be a long drive, but if you left early, you could make it at about 9pm.

Niagara Falls.

NYC.

Maryland is really pretty.
