What is there to do for enjoyment in Cleveland, Ohio?

What is there to do for enjoyment in Cleveland, Ohio during the weekends? What is there to do for enjoyment in Cleveland, Ohio?
1.An interesting place to visit is the Lakeview Cemetery. It was founded in 1869 and modeled after garden cemeteries in Victorian England and France. There are many notable figures buried here, including President James A. Garfield. His monument is said to be one of the most beautiful in the country. There is a magnificent view of Lake Erie also. Lake View Cemetery is known as Cleveland's Outdoor Museum.

2.Walk or drive over to Little Italy for some old world charm and a cup of coffee at Corbo鈥檚 Bakery. You can take a stroll through the streets and see architectural elements similar to those in Italian villages. There are many different stores and restaurants with welcoming owners and shopkeepers. Wandering among the art galleries, cafes and restaurants you will feel the hominess of the neighborhood.

3.The next stop is the West Side Market. Cleveland has a year-round fruit and vegetable market where you can also get meats, cheeses and different ethnic foods.

4.After purchasing some good snacks and groceries, walk across Market Street to the Great Lakes Brewing Company for lunch or dinner. They offer a varied menu with an excellent Bourbon Bread Pudding for dessert. There are tours of the brewery offered on Fridays and Saturdays. There is an outdoor dining patio. The building is also full of historical photos and information.

5.The final destination for this day trip is Edgewater State Park. There are two areas to the park, an upper and lower. One of the best views of downtown Cleveland can be had from the upper part of the part. The park has a 900-foot swimming beach, paved bicycle trails and a fitness course. A statue of Conrad Mizar, the oldest monument in Cleveland, can be found near the pavilion. Also available are a fishing pier, a boat launch, concession stand and a beautiful sunset to end the day.

6. take a stroll in the Cleveland Metropark.

7. go to Six flags or cedar point!

8. go to the metroparks zoo

9. go to an Indians game at Jacob's field or a Cavs game at the Q!

10.Attend Cleveland Orchestra Community Concerts

The Cleveland Orchestra, arguably the "Best Orchestra in the World," makes itself accessible to the citizens of its home town with several free community concerts throughout the year. The most popular of these is the July 4th weekend concert, held annually on Public Square. Hundreds of thousands of Clevelanders come out to sit under the stars and hear the Orchestra play Tchaikovsky's "1812 Orchestra," among other selections, accompanied by fireworks.

11.Savor the Sunset over Lake Erie

The view of the sunset from Cleveland's Edgewater State Park, on the city's near west side, is one of the loveliest in town. Bring a picnic dinner and dine as you watch the sun sink unobstructed into the horizon. Or, walk along the beach and enjoy the view

12.Marvel at the Old Arcade

The Cleveland Arcade is an architectural gem. Built in 1890 to resemble the shopping arcades of Milan Italy, the arcade is just off of Public Square, between Euclid and Superior Avenues.

The structure has a tower at both ends with a five-story sky-lighted atrium between them. The arcade boasts elaborate metalwork and intricate brass gargoyles look down from the top level. Chairs are offered on the balconies for passersby to rest and marvel at the view.

13. GO to the rock and roll hall of fame!

14. go to the flats!
