I need some reliable, honest starting point to find a house in a decent neighborhood in and around Cleveland OH. My wife and I are planning to move out there. Either personal experience with finding a house, a RE web site, or something you feel is important / or a decent neighboorhood in which to raise a family. Lakewood or Parma for older but affordable family-oriented communities. Low crime, good city services.
In Cleveland itself, Tremont or Ohio City neighborhoods would be good for starting out. Somewhat safe in comparison to other parts of the city. With older kids you would probably send them to private schools or move.
