Cleveland?

I live in cleveland. Is it one of the big cities like NYC?Cleveland?
no, not in daily life or atmosphere. i prefer to live in New York myself (live in a suburb of cleveland)



cleveland has less population

less diversity

not as good economy



but there is a great orchestra, there's teh rock hall, science center, and we do have a team in most major sport selections

Nothing at all like NYC. You take Cleveland and multiply it by 20 and you are now starting to get close to what NYC is like.





However, you do have the Rock %26amp; Roll Hall of Fame that you can visit. If you are at all interested in this, you can easily spend a half a day there.
New York City and Los Angeles would be considered metropolis cities.



Cleveland would be the next tier below.

Cleveland is still a big city and an important city. It has a major international airport and a hub for Continental airlines, three professional sports teams, a Federal Reserve Bank Branch, a NASA facility, many prestigeous museums, renowned hospitals, and a variety of restaurants and entertainment venues. Cleveland is almost always a stop on major concert tours. Cleveland is probably bigger and more important than people realize.



Most cities in America and the world are nothing like New York. You can't compare New York with any other city. Cleveland is like most big cities in America and is better compared with cities like Cincinnati, St. Louis, Philidelphia, Boston, Baltimore, Detroit and Millwauke.
I grew up in NYC and we were transferred here. When we flew over the city for the first time my husband said: "Look, there's Cleveland" as we flew over. My comment; "Where's the city?" Yeah, it's nothing like New York. It's a nice sized city but NOTHING like New York!



That said, Cleveland is an awsome city. It has great diversity, wonderful restaurants, great museums, playhouse square, the MetroPark, and more. It's a wonderful place to live and to raise a family. I wouldn't want to raise children in NY.
